Owner
I am the son of a tool maker, born and raised in Saginaw Michigan. I received my Bachelor’s degree from University of California Irvine where I was the Varsity Swim Captain, Big West Champion and All American swimmer. My tooling industry experience began with an apprenticeship for my father Morgan at Fullerton Tool Company. After learning the grinding and production processes for solid carbide tooling I headed back to California to start my career. I established MC Sales and Marketing in 1997 with a business model based upon exceptional customer service, reliable product availability and expert tool application. MC Sales and Marketing has been growing for 18 years and now services the 6 southwestern states.

Tom Viel
Manufacturing Specialist
I have worked in the industrial supply business for 35 years, the last 9 years at MC Sales as their band saw specialist. I also have vast experience cold saws, abrasive saws, and band saw maintenance and repair. My son Kirby Viel is now our band saw maintenance, repair, and set up for our Cosen band saw line.

Rob Ames
Sales Manager
I have been employed in the Metal Working Industry since 1999. Born and raised in Cloquet, MN, I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. Throughout my career in sales, applications, and distribution, I have been fortunate enough to work with world-class manufacturers, distributors and end-users. Our focus was on process improvement and reliability. I have been working closely with MC Sales and Marketing over the past 10 years and I am excited to be joining an organization that matches my desire to provide outstanding customer service while proudly representing market leaders in the manufacturing industry.

Chris Bewick
Team Lead
I come from a long bloodline of machinists. All of them right here in Southern California. It began with my grandparents owning an injection mold making company and moved on to my dad being in the machining industry his whole life. I’ve been around machines my whole life too, with a little bit of machine shop background myself. It has now become my objective to learn more and excel in the tooling field. Despite the fact that I am new to the industry, my drive is fueled by my interest and passion.

Mex Baja Sales Manager
I have been working in the metal cutting industry in Baja, Mexico for the last 10 years. I have worked in both inside technical sales and as a senior buyer. Now I am very excited to start my new career as a manufactures representative in the cutting tools industry. My technical knowledge and customer service will be a great asset in my new career. Trevor Ritschel
Regional Sales Manager
Trevor brings extensive knowledge and experience to M.C. Sales & Marketing, with over 23 years' experience in the cutting tool industry. Of which, he has spent the past 17+ years as a Territory Sales Manager for a carbide round tool manufacturer in the Los Angeles and Ventura County areas in California as the Pacific Northwest. Trevor currently lives in Tigard, Oregon with his wife, Michelle, and their teenage son, Travis. Trevor is an avid target shooter and enjoys outdoor activities.

Operations Manager
Born and raised in Tijuana, México. Have a Bachelor’s degree in International Business. I have worked on the distributor side of the metalworking industry since 2005 which has giving me lots of experience in the whole operational process; customer service, purchasing, accounting, sales, customs logistics and problem solving situations. Love new challenges and I’m really excited to be part of this team!

Rudy Schumann
Regional Sales Manager – Mountain States
I am the only son of a Tool & Die Maker. My machining experience began while I was still in Jr. High, running a lathe for my father’s shop. I completed a high school accredited Machining Technology program during my Jr. and Sr. years. Upon graduating from high school, I began working for a local Indexable Tool repair facility in Colorado. By the time I turned 21 years old I was the plant manager and spent the next 10 years working, studying and learning there. In 1989 I started working for Triad Tooling and have spent the last 30+ years overseeing the manufacturing of indexable boring bars, toolholders and spade drills as well as overseeing the distribution side of Triad, including tooling up various machines, including DMG-Mori, Fadal, Brother and Haas. As a distributor, I have worked very closely with Mat Curry and his team at MC Sales & Marketing. Over the past 20 years I have sold many of the product lines the MC Sales & Marketing represents and I am looking forward to being an integral part of the team. When I am not working, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our 3 children, their spouses and our 6 grandchildren. We also love riding in our 1969 XR7 Cougar, cruising the mountains on our Harley Road Glide and riding our ATV’s at a friend’s ranch in the mountains.

In his free time, Paul enjoys craft breweries, Disney Land, and helping with his friend’s ice carving business producing world class sculptures and designs. Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Hayley has some experience in customer service and is looking forward to learning more about the industry. She has some family history working in the tooling industry. She loves spending time with her family and tending to her four chickens. In her free time, she is going to school full time to get a degree in Child Development. She is always finding ways to interact with others.

Brad Moesch
NW Territory Manager
Brad brings a wealth of knowledge as a manufactures’ representative for the past 35 years in the Pacific Northwest calling on industrial, construction, and safety distributors and end-users for the products in which he has represented. Brad will be covering the territory of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Brad is looking forward to servicing the cutting tool market and working for M.C. Sales & Marketing’s manufacturers and customers. Brad currently lives in Ridgefield, WA with his wife Heidi, and he enjoys playing golf, going fishing, and long walks.
